Against All Odds Foundation (AGAOF) is a women-led, non-governmental organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in the year 2016. We are dedicated to empowering women, girls, and vulnerable groups to improve their quality of life through strategic advocacy, stakeholder engagement, economic empowerment, resilience building, and expanded access to essential integrated social services.
At AGAOF, we believe gender equality is a powerful tool for driving sustainable development. Our programs champion the rights of women and girls and other marginalized group, particularly the right to education, access to resources/services and opportunities; while promoting accountability to affected population, transparency, and social inclusion across all levels of society.
We work at the intersection of humanitarian response and long-term development on improving quality health care, sustainable livelihood and economic empowerment, sustainable environmental practices, peace building and promoting human rights, safety and dignity, strengthening community resilience through locally led driven solutions. By partnering with communities, government institutions, and development stakeholders, we aim to foster inclusive growth, self-reliance, and systemic change thereby promoting the localization agenda and sustainable development. Our Theory of Change
IF women and girls, vulnerable population and crisis impacted communities have access to integrated social services AND are supported to become resilient; AND IF displaced and affected population are engaged in decision making and can access quality health care, equal access to resources and Livelihood opportunities; THEN communities will be transformed, achieving sustainable development and gender equality
